A disastrous incident took place in Gujarat’s Mehsana district near Jasalpur village which is close to Kadi town in which seven workers lost their lives after a wall collapsed at a construction site. It took place around 1:45 pm.
According to the statements of the inspector of Kadi town- Prahaladishn Vaghela, he stated that the workers were digging for an underground tank which was meant for factory, so they were buried under the loose soil while performing the tasks. The rescue process have been ongoing since they are collapsed, to recover the bodies. Till now, five bodies had been recovered and several more bodies are still trapped under the soil.
As per the District Development Officer (DDO) Dr. Hasrat Jasmine, of Mehsana, updated that “In total 9-10 bodies were working when the wall collapsed occurred and only six bodies have been recovered till now in which there is one 19 years old worker who was rescued alive. The rescue process is still ongoing to find the remaining workers.”
As per the past data, this is not the first time that such an incident of wall collapsed has taken place.

- Another case was found in August- A wall collapsed in Madhya Pradesh sager where due to heavy rains the wall of a old house was collapsed and nine children were killed.
- Just a day next to this incident- A wall collapsed in Rewa and Narsinghpur districts where the wall collapsed on the childrens which were present in a tent that was adjacent to the damaged wall.
