So that they can be included in the Rocket Force of the Indian Army. After this, in September 2023, DAC was permitted to form an army regiment for these missiles. Now a unit that will have 120 missiles is yet to get approval.

the Pralay missile range is 150 to 500 km. The speed of Pralay is 1200 km/hr. Which can be increased to 2000 km/hr. That means its speed increases when it falls on the target from the air. Easy to fire this pralay missile from close range:

The advantage of short-range is that it will destroy enemy bases near the border in a jiffy. The deployment of this missile within 24 hours in December 2021 will keep both countries within limits. If it is fired near the border, it will not take much time to destroy the bunkers, cannons, military bases, or weapons depots of China or Pakistan.

Accuracy and speed are what make it most deadly:

The speed and accuracy of the Pralay missile make it the most lethal. This missile weighing 5 tonnes can carry a conventional weapon weighing 500 to 1000 kg on its nose. The technology of three missiles has been used in making this missile. These missiles are- Prithvi-2 Prithvi-3  and Prahaar.

Equipped with the ability to attack even at night:

It means the Pralay missile can attack even at night. It means that it is possible to attack Chinese targets even at night. That means it will have an infrared or thermal scanner which helps in attacking at night. Pralay missile runs on an inertial guidance system. It has solid propellant fuel. This means that high penetration, explosive cluster munition, fragmentation, thermobaric, and chemical weapons can be used in the warhead of this missile. The Tata erector launcher 8×8 is used for launching. The Pralay missile’s accuracy in destroying the target is 10 meters i.e. 33 feet. That means even if it falls within a radius of 33 feet from the target, it will cause the same amount of damage as it would have caused if it fell on the target exactly. That means the area to be destroyed will be destroyed.
