UP Heavy Rain Alert: Lightning & Thunderstorms In 53 Areas

There may be relief from heat due to the decrease in temperature, but the adverse effects of adverse weather may have to be faced. There is a possibility of lightning in 53 districts of the state on Monday. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in 19 districts. Strong gusty winds will blow in many districts. Its speed is 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that thundershowers and lightning may occur in Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bagpat, Meerut, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas.

Heavy rain is expected in these districts

Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Balrampur, Siddharth Nagar, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Saharanpur, Gonda, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Shravasti, Pilibhit, and surrounding areas. The weather will remain almost the same on June 24. Thunderstorms are expected in more than 40 districts, and heavy rainfall is expected in more than 15 districts.

No effect of heat wave in UP.

There is no impact of a heat wave anywhere in the state. The temperature across all districts is below 40 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature recorded in the state was 36.9 degrees Celsius in Jhansi. A decrease of 3.5 degrees Celsius was noted in Lucknow’s temperature. The capital’s temperature stood at 33.9 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Dr. Singh mentioned that the state will experience some relief from the heat due to rainfall, although the humidity effect will persist.
