Moving Paseenger Train falls in Thane Maharastra, 4killed…

A train falls in Thane, at least four people lost their lives, and six others were injured when several passengers fell off a moving train in Maharashtra’s Thane district on Monday. According to a statement from Central Railway, the incident occurred due to excessive overcrowding on the train. Police reported that the incident occurred near Mumbra Station in the District.

Where several passengers travelling towards CSMT fell from the train near  Mumbra railway station, Thane, the train falls in Thane and is suspected to have been caused by severe overcrowding. Railway officials and Police have arrived at the scene, and the injured are being quickly transported to the nearest hospital for treatment. An investigation into the incident is underway. Local train services have also been disrupted due to train falls in Thane. GRP’s Senior Police Inspector Archana Dusane stated that they received an alert and immediately responded by rushing to the scene.

She stated that some passengers fell off an overcrowded train just as a mail or express train was passing on the nearby track. According to the official, three people are feared to have died in a train falls in Thane.

Authorities stated that at least six passengers were discovered injured along the fast railway line between Mumbra and Diva stations in Thane district, believed to have fallen from a moving train.

Swapnil Nila, Chief Public Relations Officer of Central Railway, informed PTI that the guard of a Kasara-bound train alerted the control room at around 9:30 am about injured passengers seen along the railway tracks. He added that the injured were immediately taken to nearby hospitals. Officials have not yet confirmed which the passengers train falls in Thane.
