“My goal was to crack Olympiads, until class 10th. During COVID, I decided to start preparing for JEE Mains.” says Visharad.
The National Test Agency (NTA) announced the results, from 11,79,569 students appearing for the JEE Mains Exam. 56 students hold a 100 percentile, from which 15 are from Telangana, 7 are from Maharashtra followed by 6 from Delhi (from all categories). With vast competition around all NTA exams, students hold much confidence and dedication to clear the exams and score a high percentile for their future. The highest achievers are from Telangana.
Visharad Srivastav, a 17-year-old student from Maharashtra, scored 100 percentile in the JEE MAINS 2024 exams. He aims to pursue computer science engineering at IIT Bombay (Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay). From his 7th grade, he joined ALLEN to crack the main Science Olympiads. During COVID, he scored 100 percent in his 10th grade and hence, started preparing for JEE Mains exams.
He also stated that “Class 12th syllabus is similar to the JEE and therefore while preparing for board exams, one gets prepared for entrance exams as well. Also, Chemistry can be challenging while math is an intellectual concept. Physics is my strength in the JEE Mains Exam.”
When asked about his journey he stated that practice is the key, if you want to score better marks, practice well. During the last weeks of the exam preparations, he went for “NCERT” Chemistry and Math books.

Unlike many, Visharad stated that he didn’t totally leave social media but also, he didn’t spend much time on it as well. He attempted chemistry for the first 45 minutes of the exam, gave an hour for the math section and rest for Physics.
The other toppers for the JEE Mains exams are Rachit Aggarwal, Aadesh Veer Singh, Archit Patel, Aarav & Ayush Bhatt, etc. also scored a straight 100 percentile.
