Adani Green Energy: World’s Largest Energy Park Wave Begins in Gujarat

Adani Green Energy decided to build this plant at Khavda Park at the capacity of 30 GW of renewable energy, within the next five years. Adani Green Energy group announced that the world’s largest energy park has begun to generate energy that will functionalise solar capacity of 551 MW and will supply power to the national grid from Gujarat’s Khavada Park.

Adani Green Energy Stock rise to 3.57 percent to hit a high of RS 1,882 almost one year after the news announcement. The Adani Green Energy organization plans to grow 30 GW of environmentally friendly power limit at Khavda Park working five years. This energy park can produce power that can light up 16.1 million homes every single year.

Adani Green Energy Group said: “AGEL is best positioned to build this record-setting giga-scale plant with no parallel in the world’s clean energy sector, “When completed, the Khavda RE park will be the largest renewable energy installation in the world”.

Solar PV developers said the work on the Khavda renewable energy park has achieved a milestone by complete setup within 12 working months by Adani Green Energy because they already started to development of basic infrastructure like roads and connectivity and also created an environmentally friendly ecosystem.

There are three types of power generated by environmentally friendly projects:

  • Solar Power: The company will run 5063 MW from solar power and plans to exceed it to 10480 MW Till year-end.
  • Wind Power: The company has a capacity of 1201 MW till now but plans to exceed it to 980 MW more till year-end.
  • Hybrid Power: AGIL is Generating power of 2140 MW by hybrid power and will exceed 60 MW under construction.
