AI Chatbot | Now You Can Create Your AI Chatbot In WhatsApp

This feature is already available on Instagram and Messenger, where users can decide the purpose, personality, and even the look of their AI chatbot. Once the chatbot is ready, users can interact with it one by one.

WhatsApp is experimenting with a novel and thrilling Artificial Intelligence (AI) capability for Android users, which will enable them to build their own personalized AI chatbot. As per a feature monitor, Meta has launched this function for chosen beta participants more users may get access to it in the coming few weeks. This feature is already available on Instagram and Messenger, where users can decide the purpose, personality, and even the look of their chatbot. Once the AI chatbot is ready, users can interact with it one by one.

How to create an AI chatbot on WhatsApp

According to WABetaInfo, Meta is currently introducing the functionality of AI Studio-powered chatbot development to WhatsApp as well. This feature has been seen in WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.25.18.4, which is available through the Play Store. In this update, a feature called “Create an AI” has appeared for some users. Under this feature, users will get a new AI Studio tab, in which pre-made chatbots will also be available, with which one can talk.

How to create a custom AI chatbot

• Write a prompt: First of all, the user has to give a description (maximum 1000 characters) explaining the purpose and role of their AI chatbot.
• Choose personality: After this, some personality traits of the chatbot, i.e, nature or behavior, will have to be chosen. WhatsApp will give some suggestions, but users can also add as per their choice.
• Decide the role: The user will also have to choose in which role their AI chatbot will work, such as Helper, Mentor, Teacher, etc.
• Create an avatar: Then, the user has to choose an avatar (Image) for the chatbot. WhatsApp will suggest options, but you can also create your avatar from a text prompt or edit the one provided.
• Start a chat: Once all these steps are completed, AI Studio will create a new AI chatbot so you can start a conversation immediately.

Will AI chatbots be shared?

It is not yet clear whether WhatsApp users will be able to share their AI chatbots with others, but since this is possible on Instagram and Messenger, this feature can likely come to WhatsApp soon. Currently, this feature is in beta stage and only a limited number of users have it. But more users are expected to get access to it in the coming weeks. Its public launch date has not been announced yet.
