Akash Missile: Indian Air Defender that Outfoxed Pakistan
Akash missile played a crucial role in the defense of the country. After Operation Sindoor, Pakistan made a hazardous attack on India with drones and missiles. Due to this, the Indian Air Force was in danger and then Akash missile has instantly destroyed many incoming threats. It proved Pakistan wrong in its claims that its jets have destroyed India’s most potent and reliable S-400 air defence system. What is Akash Missile System?
Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Akash Missile is a medium-range, surface-to-air missile system that provides area air defense against multifarious. The missile can target aircraft up to 45 km (28 mi) away and neutralise aerial targets like fighter jets, cruise missiles, and air-to-surface missiles. The best thing about this missile is that it can move around easily and can be used to protect other static buildings and moving army units.
