Terrorists killed in army encounter in Sopore J&K: War-time items found:
The Indian Army said on Saturday. A terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Sopore city of Jammu and Kashmir. After a brief encounter, security forces launched a search operation with terrorists in Sopore in Baramulla district. According to ANI report, the accused arrested on Friday, Zaheer Hussain Shah, a resident of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, was the guide of the Lashkar-e-Taiba group caught in Poonch. The Army and other security agencies launched ‘search and destroy’ operations and redeployed security personnel to the mountains south of Pir Panjal.
Search Operation in Rajouri:
The search operation was conducted on Wednesday night. The operation was started at 9:30 pm in the general area of village Khedi Mohra Lathi and Danthal area. Firing also took place between terrorists and security forces in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police said that during the search operation, contact was established with the terrorists at around 11:45 pm on August 28 and an exchange of fire took place between the terrorists and the security forces near the Kheri Mohra area.
