BMW Cars Record Their Highest Sales In India For The Year 2024

BMW Group India has given its numbers for their car sales in 2024. BMW said that it is been a very good year in terms of their sales in India as BMW cars have reached a total of 15741 units.

In the luxury segment of BMW cars, luxury models offered by BMW such as the BMW 7 Series, i7, X7, and XM were in high demand, and a total of 2,507 units were sold. As per the statement, the market there has seen an increase of 8 percent. The best-selling model of BMW cars in this category was the BMW X7 which has a sale of 1,570 units, an increase of 4 percent from the past year. BMW is also aiming to continue its leadership in the Indian luxury electric vehicle market for the third consecutive year by delivering 1,249 fully electric BMW cars and MINI vehicles in 2024.

In the electric car segment, BMW has performed tremendously well as the BMW i7 became the best-selling electric car in its class with 384 units sold. This car segment grew by 16% this year. BMW cars have long-wheelbase models such as their 3 Series, 5 Series, and 7 Series which are also in high demand. More than 1,000 units of the new BMW 5 Series Long-Wheelbase model were delivered in the six months since its launch.

BMW M division has given a magnificent performance with eight new products launched in the market, including seven BMW M sedans and one BMW M motorcycle. The delivery of the BMW M model series increased to 875 units, with the BMW M340i being the best-selling model.
