Coldplay Beats the Diljit Dosanjh Record in India Concert

Coldplay is a British rock band that makes history during the Indian leg of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. In a concert, 1.34 lakh fans come.  The concert is run in a place in Ahmedabad on Sunday by Narendra Modi Stadium. In the world of live performance, too few events carry the same level of anticipation and excitement as a concert by global megastars.

Recently Coldplay became one of the most successful rock bands in the world to manage to break the record held by the Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh for the highest-grossing concert in India. The concert, A Question was a landmark event for the music industry in India, as it showcased the immense appeal and fan base that Coldplay has in the country, as well as the growing prominence of international artists on Indian soil.

A Coldplay performance live 5 concerts in India due to a popular demand and sold-out show. As part of their tour, the band performed 3 shows in Mumbai and followed it up with two back-to-back performances in Ahmedabad. Their final show is on January 28. The first time a ticketed concert in India crossed the one lakh milestone.

This became one of the band’s biggest shows, surpassing their previous record of 83,000 attendees at the Sydney show. The final gig, which was streamed LIVE on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar for an impressive 83 lakh views and 16.5 crore minutes of watch time.
