A Diwali bonus by the Maharashtra government has been announced for the women under Ladki Bahin Yojana. Rs.3000 as a payment of 4th and 5th installment will be transferred directly to the bank account of eligible women under Ladki Bahin Yojana instead of Rs.1500 as Diwali bonus by the Maharashtra government. In order to provide various forms of assistance and extensive support to the women across the state, the government has launched the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana to uplift and empower females in the state.
To apply under this Ladki Bahin Yojana scheme launched by Maharashtra government the applicant must belong to a family whose combined annual income is Rs.250000 or less and their Aadhar card must be linked to the bank account. This scheme is applicable to married, widowed, abandoned, destitute, divorced women and in addition to this, their age must be between 21 and 65 years. And all the women in Maharashtra falling under this category can apply for this scheme online. For applying under the Ladki Bahin Yojana scheme there is need of following documents that need to be provided by the applicant and they are: Aadhar Card, Bank Account Detail, Identity Card, Residence Certificate, Caste Certificate, Ration Card, Age Proof. Furthermore, there is need of a passport size photo, Birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Voter ID, Income Proof (except orange and yellow ration card holder).
The last date for the application of Ladki Bahin Yojana has been extended by the Maharashtra Government to 15th October.

- Step 3: Click on ‘create a new account’ that will appear on a new page.
- Step 4: A registration form will appear-fill the form with all the required documents and details of the applicant.
- Step 5: Click on sign up option after completing the form and reviewing all the information and details carefully.
