This missile has been developed by the Indian Research Institute and Development Organization in collaboration with the Indian Navy, which is known for its speed accuracy or target accuracy. This is a missile made in India. Its speed is so fast that it cannot be caught by the enemy rider. It has been tested in the sea near the Integrated Test Range located in Chandipur, Odisha. Vertical Launch-Short Range Surface to Air Missile is the name of this missile.

This missile is equipped with an indigenous radio frequency seeker which further increases its accuracy. This missile destroys the target midway. A low-flying target is an aircraft, drone, missile, or helicopter that is dodging radar. This means that the enemy can no longer deceive India in this way. Indian missiles will destroy enemy targets. DRDO has not disclosed from which vessel this missile was launched. But this mysterious weapon of India is very deadly. Defense Research and Development Laboratory Pune, Research Center Building Hyderabad, and Research and Development Pune are involved in making this missile. The testing of this missile is being done so that the Barak-1 missile can be removed from the Indian warship. Barak-1 missile has been jointly developed by the Israel Aerospace Industry and Rafael Advanced Defense System. This missile is 98 kg in weight.

The range of VL-SRSAM is 25-30 kilometers. It can go up to a maximum of 12 km. Its speed is double that of Barak-1. It flies at a speed of 4.5 i.e. 5556.6 kilometers per hour. It can be launched from any warship. However, the Indian Navy has not confirmed whether this missile has been tested or not. But this missile is likely to be deployed this year itself. The special thing about this missile is that it can rotate anywhere in 360 degrees and destroy its enemy. This missile weighs 154 kg and has been jointly developed by DRDO and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDA).
