In today’s life, fitness has become a common hobby among the people of the world. People are getting more involved in fitness activities as they’re getting aware by communication like TV, Magazines, Newspapers, etc.

Now we will talk about fitness. Fitness is the word related to the body fitness and wellness of a human being which is most important. Nowadays people do not have a proper balanced diet and a healthy routine. Which is causing severe diseases and unwellness of the body? A healthy diet and an appropriate routine of exercises or physical activities are mandatory for a healthy body. A person should have to perform exercises or physical activities to stay fit. Fitness is not about just keeping the body fit but also keeping the mind. Fit and improve mental health by performing some meditation and yoga.

Physical activity contains those activities in which a person puts effort into the body work as running, walking, jogging, weightlifting, swimming, etc. These exercises require a lot of energy from the body which helps in burning calories and shaping the body.

Running is the most common physical activity. One can perform running to increase his body fitness and shape. The body is the most effective way of losing unwanted fat of the body and making the body fit.

Running requires a lot of energy as the heartbeat rate increases heavily in running like sprinting which burns calories fast, so it is necessary to keep the body hydrated for heavy running like sprinting because in running a lot of energy is consumed by the activity which causes the loss of body water in the form of sweating, so it is necessary to stay hydrated for the running. Running can be done be done in a slow speed, which is named jogging which also burns calories, but sprinting is more effective than that. But for the beginners, I recommend they should start their running routine with a slow jog.

Another physical activity is Weightlifting and Gymnasium (GYM) which has become very popular in today’s generation through the internet. People started going to gyms to make their body fit and to look lean. People are getting aware of the gym through the internet and other means. As a coin, everything has two sides a good side and a bad side. Gym and workouts are done within a limit and according to the body’s capacity. Doing workouts more than the body’s capacity can be dangerous as there are chances of heart failure, injuries, and other medical conditions. Performing workouts for 3 to 4 days a week is enough for physical fitness and maintaining good body shape.

As we have studied some physical activities for physical fitness. Mental fitness also requires mental fitness activities like meditation and a good and scheduled lifestyle. Meditation is the activity that fully relaxes the mind making the mind fresh and healthy. Meditation also helps reduce mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, stress, and sleeplessness. Sleeping for good hours can be beneficial for improving mental health. Lack of sleep leads to depression, anxiety, and stress.

A healthy and balanced diet is also important for a healthy body or a balanced diet is more important than physical activities. Nowadays people are not focusing on the balance of healthy eating and unhealthy eating, they are just focusing on unhealthy eating junk foods like pizza, burgers, noodles, and other junk foods which are dangerous for health and causing many body diseases and illnesses. Most of the people are suffering from the lack of nutrition that a healthy body needs just because of their bad eating habits. A healthy balanced diet is very important for the body’s fitness and wellness. A balanced diet contains food that is rich in vitamins and minerals a body needs.

So it is important to focus on both physical activity and as well as a balanced diet to stay healthy and fit physically and mentally.
