Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first. The match got delayed due to rain. The match started at 8:50 pm IST at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York. Indian batters could not score a big target for competition against the popular rivalry Pakistan. The score after the first innings of India’s batting were 119 runs in 19 overs all out. Still, Pakistan could not finish the target and lost by 6 runs.
Match Summary:
Apart from Rishabh Pant, no other Indian batter could reach more than 40 runs mark. Pakistani bowlers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf took 3 wickets each. Mohammad Amir and Shaheen Afridi took two and one respectively.
From Pakistan, maximum runs were 31 by Mohammad Rizwan. Others could not even manage to make more than 15 runs. Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets for the team. Hardik Pandya took 2 wickets. Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh went for one wicket each.
Release Imran Khan banners:
Apart from the match, the audience witnessed ‘release Imran Khan’ banners flying above the stadium during the match. The banner promoted to release former Prime Minister of Pakistan. Audience found it relatable as Imran Khan was also a former player and captain of the Pakistan National Cricket Team.

The people that are responsible for the banner and the plane flying during the match are likely to be supposed as the supporters of the former Prime Minister but their identity is still not known.
This is not the first time about ‘Release Imran Khan’ posters. A fan at the airport pointed Rizwan, asking him to sign the banner.
Since the August of last year, Imran Khan has been serving in the prison with his wife for several charges. These include few charges like Toshakhana Corruption case and Non-Islamic marriage charges are filed upon him.
