New Trailer of Kalki 2898 Ad Has Been Released
A few days before its release, the creators of Kalki 2898 AD unveiled the film’s second trailer, offering a closer glimpse of the characters portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan.
This lengthy trailer, clocking in at over two minutes, dives deeper into the world of Kalki and explains the movie’s plot in more detail. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie is set for a global release on June 27.
The trailer starts with Amitabh Bachchan’s character, Ashwathama, speaking to Deepika Padukone’s character and saying, “People say that God contains the whole universe. But God lives inside you.” This sets a mystical and significant tone for the narrative. Following this, the trailer introduces more characters, with Deepika appearing in various scenes, each accompanied by brief yet impactful dialogues.

The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, takes a futuristic spin on the Mahabharat and is set in Kaashi, ruled by Saswata Chatterjee’s character. The plot revolves around a prophecy that foretells the ruler’s downfall by a child, who is carried by Deepika Padukone’s character. In addition to the trailer release, a grand event was held in Mumbai, attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan, to celebrate Kalki 2898 AD.
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan purchased the first ticket of the film from the producer and presented it to Kamal Haasan. Inviting Kamal Haasan on stage, Amitabh conveyed his respect and friendship, saying, “I will give this to my colleague, my dear friend, my brother Kamal Haasan.”
The film promises a compelling blend of action, drama, and philosophical depth, set against a richly detailed futuristic backdrop. As anticipation builds, fans eagerly await the release of Kalki 2898 AD, which aims to deliver a unique cinematic experience.
