In the IPL 2024 season, a great match was played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capitals (DC). In this match, the KKR team first made a historic score. After this, he scored a hat-trick of victory by defeating Delhi. In this way, KKR has reached the top of the points table.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), captained by Shreyas Iyer, has stirred the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. In the match played in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday (April 3), KKR defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 106 runs.

In this match, the KKR team first made a historic score. After this, he scored a hat-trick of victory by defeating Delhi. In this way, KKR has reached the top of the points table. This is the third defeat in 4 matches for the Delhi team captained by Rishabh Pant. 

KKR Won Due to The Stormy Performance of The Bowlers: 

In the match, Kolkata had given the second-highest target of 272 runs in IPL history. In response, the Delhi team could score only 166 runs in 17.2 overs. Captain Rishabh Pant played a stormy inning of 55 runs in 25 balls for the team. There was a partnership of 93 runs in 47 balls for the fifth wicket between Pant and Tristan Stubbs, but both could not lead the team to victory. 

In this inning, Stubbs scored fifty in 28 balls. He scored 54 runs on 32 balls in the match. On the other hand, star spinner Varun Chakraborty and fast bowler Vaibhav Arora took 3 wickets each for the Kolkata team.  While fast bowler Mitchell Starc took 2 blows. Sunil Narine and Andre Russell got 1-1 success. 

KKR Made The Second-Biggest Score in IPL History: 

The Kolkata team made a good start by winning the toss and batting first and scoring 272 runs after losing 7 wickets. This is the second-highest score in IPL history. The record of scoring the highest score in this list is in the name of Sunrisers Hyderabad had scored 277 runs for 3 wickets against Mumbai Indians on 27 March in the same season.
