Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as ahead of other leaders. He said that the Prime Minister had talked to him about AI 6 years ago, while at that time no one was discussing AI. Recently the Nvidia CEO Came to India, where he launched a special AI model for India and also signed an agreement with Reliance.

What did Jensen Huang say about PM Modi?

He said, ‘I was surprised. This was the first time a government leader asked me to talk to his cabinet on this particular topic (AI). The Nvidia CEO said that he was surprised because no one was talking about AI at that time. Huang said that when he last visited India, Prime Minister Modi had a very in-depth conversation with him. At that time the Prime Minister told Huang that India should build AI itself instead of outsourcing data for intelligence.

Recently, the Nvidia CEO said the same thing in a conversation with India Today. He said that India has both data and people. India does not need to develop software somewhere else and bring it to India, rather they should create intelligence here (in India) and then export it.

He said, ‘You have data, energy, and infrastructure. You have important elements in the country itself, who can develop this data into intelligence.’ Jensen said, ‘There are many Indians who like Hindi on their phones. These tokens must be manufactured in India only.

The company’s CEO Jensen Huang came to India for the Nvidia Summit 2024. During this, he launched his Hindi AI model Nemotron-4-Mini-Hindi-4B. With the help of this AI model, companies will be able to develop their own AI models. Along with this, they have also signed an agreement with Reliance Industries to develop AI infrastructure.
