RCB Lifted Their Maiden IPL Title In 18 Years “Ee Sala Cup Namdu”

After 18 Years of the Tata IPL, Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally clinched their maiden IPL title by beating Punjab Kings by 6 Runs at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. This 18th season was more special for the special 18 number player “Virat Kohli” who has been loyal from 18 edition of IPL to one franchise that is Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He has seen all the good and bad times in the 18 years of his journey with Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

First season as a Captain, Rajat Patidar helped Royal Challengers Bengaluru to feel the taste of that trophy. He was leading from the front in the whole tournament. He says that he wants to win this trophy for Virat Kohli more than anyone else.

Middle order Contribution and Late collapse: Royal Challengers Bengaluru middle order give helpful contribution from Mayank Agarwal (24of18), Rajat Patidar (26of16), Liam Livingstone (25of15) helping them to maintain the momentum to post good total.

However, the momentum shifted in last 3 overs to Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru lost 4 wickets and cored 19 runs and finished at 190/9 from 171/5.

Jemieson, Arshdeep Take 3-3 Wickets: Punjab kings pace bowler Jemieson and Arshdeep take 3-3 wickets where as both go expensive in their spell. Jemieson spends  48/3 while Arshdeep spends 40/3. Apart from them other bowler also goes expensive and take 1 wicket each. Omerzai spends 35/1, yuzvendar chahal spends 37/1 and Vysakh spends 30/1. Vysakh was more economical from Punjab Kings.

Punjab Kings Start good But Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowler Make Comeback and help Royal Challengers Bengaluru to win Title

Punjab openers give good start to their team but Royal Challengers Bengaluru star bowler Josh Hazelwood break partnership with the help of phil salt good catch at boundary rope. Then Prabhsimran and Josh Inglis try to build partnership but the final match star bowler for Royal Challengers Bengaluru Krunal Pandya break partnership. After that Josh Inglis try to charge on the bowlers but the Krunal Pandya get the big fish and also match and shift momentum from their, after that the  middle order collapse early. Shashank Singh try to win and play a fiery knock of 61 of 30 but fell short. All the Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowler take wickets except Suyansh. Bhuvneshwar Kumar gets two big fish in same over and shifted match from there.
