The newly introduced T4 is built on the platform of the made-in-India Triumph Speed 400, utilizing the identical 398.15 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which delivers 30.6 bhp at 7000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm.
These figures represent a reduction of 8.9 bhp and 3.5 Nm compared to the Speed 400. Triumph states that the T4 offers increased power in the low-to-mid range of the rev spectrum. It comes equipped with a 6-speed transmission that includes a slipper clutch
