About Animal Film
Some people criticized the movie for showing disrespect towards women and for its portrayal of misogyny, particularly in its depiction of female characters. Some critics also analyzed the film for its graphic violence and glorification of revenge in the Animal movie.
Additionally, there were debates about the ethical implications of presenting morally ambiguous characters as protagonists, particularly in the context of a mainstream Bollywood film. Sandeep, in an interview with Galatta Plus, mentioned that only a small number of people see this in his movies, and the criticism has become too negative.
The story of the movie mainly focuses on a difficult relationship between a father and his son. Ranbir Kapoor plays the character of Ranvijay Singh, who seeks revenge after his father survives an assassination attempt. The movie also features Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri, and Anil Kapoor in important roles. A sequel to the movie called “Animal Park”, is also being planned.
