In the month of June this year, two astronauts Sunita Williams and butch wilmore took off from the international space station for an 8-day mission. Due to some technical glitch, the hope of these two astronauts coming to Earth has been postponed for eight months. NASA scientists are trying to bring these two astronauts back to Earth by February 2025. Currently, Sunita Williams and butch Wilmore are sharing space with 9 other people in a 6-bedroom house.

Astronauts said that survival in the International Space Station (ISS) is not so easy. One has to meditate there for at least two hours every day. One has to pay special attention to what one is eating. You have to wash your clothes too. The biggest thing is that the smell of space is very strange. One of the astronauts also said that he sweats a lot during exercise. The drop of sweat that comes out starts flying in the air and hence cannot move. They have to make do with only 1 pair of pants for three months.

NASA’s American astronaut Nicole Stott has spent 104 days in space under two missions in  2009 and 2011. She said that there is a corner for books and photos whenever someone misses his family.
