Sushant Singh Rajput Case: CBI Filed Closure Report in Court
CBI filed a closure report on its investigation into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, confirming that there was no proof found against Rhea Chakraborty. According to the report, no concrete evidence has been found against Riya Chakraborty and her family which proves that Sushant Singh was instigated to commit suicide. Sushant’s family now has the right to file a petition in the Mumbai court if they are not aware of the FIR report. However, no official statement has come from the family yet.
In June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment in Mumbai. Sushant’s father filed an FIR in Patna and CBI took over the investigation in August 2020. Sushant’s father accused actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family members of abetment to suicide, financial fraud, and mental harassment. After a four-year-long investigation, CBI has now tried to close the case of Sushant Singh Rajput death.

Advocate Satish Maneshinde said that we are very thankful to the CBI ( Crime Investigation Bureau) for having conscientiously looked over all aspects of the case. Social media and electronic media have raised many false narratives which was not right. He said Rhea Chakraborty had to go through untold suffering and remain behind bars for 27 days for no fault of hers until Justice Sarang V Kotwal released her on bail. He also added that India is very safe and every person crying for justice has hope due to our vibrant judiciary. Satya Meva Jayate.
Sushant Singh Rajput was 34 at the time. He was found hanging in his apartment in June 2020, sparking a major controversy. He was known as the best Bollywood actor as he gave marvelous performances in films such as Kai Po Che!, and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath (2018) and Chhichhore (2019), his final appearance was in Dil Bechara, which was released posthumously.
