Every year, millions of people make new fitness journey resolutions. They sign up for a new gym membership, buy running shoes, and follow diet plans. However, after a short period of time, they return to their old routines, complaining of lack of time, lost motivation, and no results. But the truth is, there are deeper, more real reasons behind these reasons, which people fail to understand.

Unrealistic Expectations:

In today’s time, the biggest reason for fitness journey is unrealistic expectations. Today people get motivated quickly by seeing perfect body transformation on social media that people will get six pack in 30 days and will lose 10 kg weight in one month but nothing like this happens and people get demotivated very soon. People have to understand that fitness is a slow process game because it takes time for the body to change. Then what if when these expectations are not real, then it disappoints and forces people to leave the fitness journey.

Lack of Patience and Consistency:

Fitness is a long term commitment to yourself, not a job of 1-2 weeks. You will have to work continuously on your fitness, only then will you see the results.
