Google Gemini Nano Banana AI, a new image generation and editing model, is making waves on social media. To join the Google Gemini Nano Banana AI Trend, people are uploading pictures on Google Gemini Nano to create hyper-realistic visuals by using AI. Meanwhile, an IPS officer have warned people to be cautious and ensure that pictures are uploaded on the real website instead of “fake websites or unauthorized apps”.
An IPS officer, VC Sajjanar, wrote in an interesting tweet, “Be cautious of internet trends! Getting caught in the trap of trending Google Gemini Nano Banana AI sharing personal information online can lead to such scams. Just with one click, the money deposited in your bank accounts can go into the hands of criminals.
He cautioned, “Never share photos or personal information on fake websites or unauthorized apps,” and added, “You can share your happy moments on social media trends, but don’t forget that safety should always be a top priority.”
He further said, “trends come and go”, but once someone gets into trouble on a “fake website or unauthorized apps”, it is hard to get it back. If you step on an unknown path, you are bound to fall into a ditch. Think twice before publishing your photos or personal information.
The IPS officer wrote, “Remember.. Your money is Your Responsibility.” He shared a screenshot of a news snippet which that claimed a person was scammed while trying to participate in the Google Gemini Nano Banana AI Trend.
In another X post, the IPS officer tagged several people and profiles, including the Prime Minister of India, the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Center, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and the Telangana Police.
One person wrote, “A very important reminder for everyone. Such awareness is extremely necessary for safety. While another said, “Sir, I did not even upload this- my friend uploaded my photo of making Google Gemini Nano Banana AI Trend, and I got very angry”.
