War 2: Hrithik Roshan and JR NTR’s Movie to Release on this Date
YRF has announced the release date of War 2, the most awaited movie of Hrithik Roshan and JR NTR. The film will be released in theatres on August 14, 2025. The film also stars Kiara Advani in the lead role. Yash Raj Films shares an unofficial promotional asset of the film on its official X page and announces the release date of War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie is a part of YRF’s spy universe.
Tollywood star JR NTR is set to make his big Bollywood debut with this upcoming movie War 2. The action-packed thriller film, in which Hrithik Roshan, JR NTR, and Kiara Advani play the lead roles, will hit theaters on August 14, 2025. However, there are many rumors about ‘War 2’ claiming that not only Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR but another big star can also be seen in it. Fans of JR NTR and Hrithik Roshan are eagerly waiting for War 2, the sequel of Bollywood’s most loved spy universe.

The first part of the film was released in 2019 which broke many records while earning at the box office. Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff were in the lead roles in it. Several videos and photos of the actors shooting for the film War 2 went viral on social media. Hrithik Roshan’s representative said that the actor has sustained a knee injury and the doctor has advised him to rest. NTR has also been seen at Mumbai airport as he landed for War 2’s shoot yesterday.
Fans are impatiently waiting to witness both the stars setting the screens ablaze. ‘War 2’ is going to be one of the most tremendous action films of Bollywood. This film has been made on a huge budget of about 200 crores. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, this film will feature drama between Diana Roshan and Junior NTR. NTR seems to be winning over Hrithik in the fashion game already. While, Hrithik has been maintaining a low profile, hardly making any public appearances.
Yash Raj Films has shared this information on its official social media account that ‘War 2’ will be released on 14 August 2025. Releasing just a day before Independence Day, this film is all set to make a big bang at the box office. This upcoming movie might also include a dance number starring Shraddha Kapoor.
