India is a Labor-intensive country. Still, most of the working youth are unemployed. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has capabilities that have been advanced over the past few years. Evolution of AI can have a worse impact on the unemployment of the country. The tech companies are still trying to figure out how to utilize the technology. Artificial Intelligence will eliminate all jobs, but in terms of development, this is not a bad case. The aftereffect would be simple; none of us will have a job.
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, stated “I am predicting future jobs will be optional. AI and the robots will eventually develop over a period of time. They would provide much better services and goods. Having a job would be a little difficult unless you are a Master in it.” Musk elaborated “instead of Universal Basic Income (UBI), the government will have to provide Universal High Income.” Musk has previously expressed his fear about the fast developing technology and evolution of AI.

There will be no such shortage of goods or services when AI will take over. People would feel emotional in a future with no jobs. The statement is clear; if the computers, technology and robots can do everything better than you then will your life have meaning? If we start giving AI much importance, there will be no role for humans. Social media platforms are being programmed by maximizing the role of AI. Industry experts are concerned about the fact that how the jobs will be after the evolution of AI in the market.
Most workplaces are adopting AI more than human intelligence but experts believe that many jobs such as teachers and mental health professionals will never be able to adopt AI as they need human emotional intelligence and human interactions.
Biggest problem in adoption and evolution of AI would be the risk of data security and privacy. Various frameworks and strong regulations will have to take place before fully adopting AI. Artificial Intelligence can be equally helpful and dangerous, depending on its usage. If we fully depend on AI for work, no doubt AI will replace human working in no time. AI will undoubtedly improve industries like healthcare, manufacturing and services for both consumer and worker however, high and strong regulations, privacy concerns and job loss will still be the biggest challenge and worry.
