India is a country where almost half of the population is below the age of 32–38. It’s a good thing because it is a strength of our country. Young people bring new energy, strength, and the ability to think well. Politics has a huge role in changing the direction of the country. If today’s youth play their important role in this, then both society and the country can move in the right direction. This is why youth in Indian politics is becoming more important than ever before. Today, many youths in India are taking an interest in politics. With the growing generation entering Parliament and Vidhan Sabha, we see youth in Indian politics during elections. In many places, we even see MLAs and Prime Ministers below the age of 40–45.

Through Indian politics, the interest of Indian youth in social media is continuously increasing, and they are moving towards it. On platforms like Twitter and YouTube, they can express their opinions. With the contribution of youth in Indian politics, a lot of work is being managed effectively. Through these platforms, youth are reaching the upper levels to voice their opinions on political topics. As part of society, they are also doing their work and fulfilling their responsibilities. In this way, youth in Indian politics are using social media in a positive manner, raising their voices, and actively participating.
There are many noticeable changes between the older generation and the current generation. Youths do their work with great dignity, and if they step into politics, they can reduce conflicts to a large extent. Youth in Indian politics also understand the difficulties of children studying in schools. When young boys and girls enter politics, they are able to build long-term careers, which allow them to contribute to society and the nation for many years. This proves how beneficial youth in Indian politics can be.
However, when a young leader starts his journey, he may lack experience, and many times the public does not take his words seriously. It is quite difficult to enter politics in India compared to other countries. To contest elections, many things are needed such as money, power, and proper planning. In today’s time, not every youth can manage this, but despite these problems, today’s youth in Indian politics are ready to contest elections and make every possible effort. Many young people are gathering the courage to move forward and are also fulfilling their responsibilities.
At one time, when Rajiv Gandhi became the Prime Minister of India, he focused more on technology, proving that with a fresh mindset, we can achieve anything. Politics should be taught in schools and colleges so that when the youth step into politics, they take informed and responsible decisions. With more educated youth in Indian politics, the nation can expect better leadership and vision.
Today’s youth are active on social media. Social media has become an important tool for spreading election news and encouraging youth in Indian politics. However, it should be used wisely to gain knowledge rather than just likes and followers. It is not enough for youth to only vote; they must also seek correct information. This makes youth in Indian politics more powerful and impactful.
If the youth work with dignity, hard work, and positive thinking, they will succeed in changing the country’s image. A strong democracy needs educated and visionary leaders, and only youth in Indian politics can fulfill that dream. If India is to be strengthened and developed in the right direction, the active participation of youth in Indian politics is the key.
