First Women Fighter Pilot: Squadron Leader Mohana Singh has made a big achievement in her name. The elite 18 ‘Flying Bullets’ squadron operating India’s indigenous LCA Tejas fighter jet. Mohana Singh has become the first woman fighter pilot to join it. She is one of the Country’s first female fighter pilots. Now, every daughter of the country will get motivation from this remarkable achievement of Mohana Singh. Three Vice Chiefs of The Three Services Conducted a Historic Flight:
Recently an exercise ‘Tarang Shakti’ was organized in Jodhpur under ‘Made in India’. Officer Mohana Singh was part of the exercise, where three Vice Chiefs of the three Services conducted a historic flight. She was a part of that historic flight. The first group has three women who become fighter pilots in the Indian Air Force. One of them was Squadron Leader Mohana Singh. Apart from them, Squadron Leader Avni Chaturvedi and Bhavana Kanth were the other two women who were included in this group. They are now in the western desert and are flying a Su-30 MKI fighter jet.

Women Fighter Pilots in The IAF:
Mohana was flying a MiG-21 Fighter jet till now. Recently he was posted in the LCA squadron deployed at Naliya Air Base in Gujarat sector on the Pakistan border. During the historic flight in LCA Tejas, Mohana Singh could be seen instructing the Vice Chiefs of the Navy and Army on the flight in the LCA Tejas fighter jet and helping them prepare for it. In 2016, After the government opened the fighter stream to women there are about 20 women fighter pilots in the IAF.
Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh Indian Air Force Vice Chief was flying the LCA Tejas fighter version solo. While the other two vice chiefs, Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan and Lieutenant General NS Raja Subramani, along with two fighter pilots they flew the trainer version. The defense forces jointly standing in support of Make in India this exercise was seen as the biggest message of it. America, Greece, Australia, Sri Lanka, and many other countries including the Top air forces of the world with their top fighter jets participated in the multinational exercise at Jodhpur Air Base.
