NCERT Will Soon Launch New Books On These Subjects For Classes 3rd And 6th
NCERT is giving priority to implementing new textbooks for classes 3rd and 6th for the upcoming academic year. For which the editors have been assigned the task of reviewing the entire textbooks within a period of only two to three days. Along with the beginning of the new academic session, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is going to launch new books.
These books will be for class 3rd and class 6th. NCERT tries to ensure that these books are as per the National Curriculum Framework (NCF). In such a situation, textbooks for classes 1st and 2nd have already been started under the National Curriculum Framework and National Education Policy 2020.
Work is Going On These Subjects For Class 3rd
According to sources in the Ministry of Education (MOE), NCERT is giving priority to implementing Class 3rd and Class 6th textbooks in the upcoming academic year.
Let us tell you that to create and launch new books one has to go through a proper process and research. Proofreading and editing work is still left for the books on English, Urdu, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies for Class 3 being prepared by NCERT.
Class 6th Books May Be Launched Soon
Similarly, the books on Mathematics, Science, and Languages for Class 6th are in their final stages. After this, it will be ensured that proofreading, publishing, and distribution of books are done on time. The deadline for this has been set till March.
In such a situation, editors have been assigned the task of reviewing entire textbooks within a period of two to three days. As per the plan of NCRT, the timely release of the syllabus for all classes was initially planned. But now it looks like there may be a delay in making textbooks available for all grades for the 2024-25 academic year.
