To protect yourself from digital fraud, the Prime Minister said, “I will tell you three steps towards digital security. These three steps are – ‘Stop, Think, Act’.”
As soon as you get the call, say ‘wait’, don’t panic, stay calm, don’t take any hasty steps, and don’t give your personal information to anyone, if possible take a screenshot, and definitely do this.
The second step is to think – no government agency threatens over the phone, interrogates over video calls, or demands money in this manner. So understand that something is wrong if you feel scared.
Step 3 – Take action. Call the National Cyber Helpline 1930, report on http://cybercrime.gov.in, inform family members, inform police and preserve evidence.

Cybercriminals use various tricks to cheat people. One of these methods is the digital arrest scam. In this, the victim is intimidated, threatened, and even threatened with arrest. Ultimately, his bank account is emptied.
