OpenAI company has launched a major update i.e. ChatGPT Search. Instead of launching this product separately, the company has added it as a feature. In this way, users are now getting better and accurate results. It works differently from Google Search. This feature of ChatGPT was in demand for a long time and now this feature has arrived.

Currently this feature is available for ChatGPT Plus and Team users. When we logged in to OpenAI’s website, there was an option of ChatGPT Search, after clicking on which we also saw the option to install the Chrome extension.
After logging in to Chatgpt.com, users will see a search icon near the attachments in the search bar. If users want to search for any content on the internet, they can ask for details by clicking on the search icon.
ChatGPT Search works on the mobile app as well as on the web. However, right now this service is available only for ChatGPT Plus and Team users, which they can try. However, in the coming days, its access will also be available for free.
The ChatGPT search feature enables it to get real-time and current information from the internet. Here it works differently from Google and other search engines. While other browsers only suggest links or websites to users, ChatGPT will process the search results and then respond.
This model of ChatGPT will provide users with information ranging from weather forecasts and stock prices to sports. Direct tabs will also be available on the chatbot’s home page. OpenAI said in its blogpost, ‘ChatGPT can now search the web better than before.’
Regarding ChatGPT, the company claims that now users will get answers faster than before, along with links to relevant web sources. Earlier, users had to go to search engines for this. The new feature of OpenAI ChatGPT has gone live on iOS, Android and desktop apps and users can use it on their platforms.
