How Did This Situation Arise:

The revised spending plan presented by the Republicans could not be passed in the House last Thursday night. A two-thirds majority was needed in the House of Representatives to pass it. But 38 Republicans voted against the bill along with most Democrats. On the other hand, newly elected President Donald Trump thwarted the previous funding deal made by Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson with the Democrats. Trump also condemned this deal.
