Booking for Housefull 5 Movie “Can it break all time records”

Tarun Mansukhani’s Housefull 5 movie will be released in cinemas on Friday, 6 June 2025. The upcoming film Housefull 5 movie boasts an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles. As per reports from trade sources, the Housefull 5 movie has already sold over 90,000 tickets across nearly 12,000 shows by Wednesday evening, earning approximately ₹2.6 crore so far in bookings. While this performance has surpassed several other recent films, it still trails behind Sky Force, which recorded ₹3.78 crore in pre-release sales. For comparison, Housefull 4 from Housefull 5 movie, which hit theatres during Diwali 2019, collected ₹8 crore in advance bookings and earned a strong ₹19.08 crore net on its opening day in India.

The Housefull franchise has been a consistent box office draw over the years. The first film garnered Rs 119 crore globally, followed by Rs 188 crore for the second, Rs 185 crore for the third, and Rs 296 crore for the fourth installment. Housefull 5 movie assembles a powerful cast, adding iconic names like Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, and Johnny Lever to its already well-loved lineup. Breaking away from its usual comedy-only formula, the franchise ventures into suspense territory with a gripping murder mystery set against the backdrop of an opulent cruise liner, promoting both laughs and thrills in equal measure. Adding an unexpected twist, the film offers two alternate endings, each unveiling a different culprit. Sponsored by producers Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala, and Grandson Entertainment, promising grand-scale entertainment with a fresh spin. Direction duties for the fifth installment are helmed by a new team, continuing the franchise’s legacy of high-energy comedy with a fresh twist.
