A Day before the start of Asia Cup 2025, Indian middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer shares his emotions. This Indian batsman, who did not get a place in the 15 member team chosen for the battle of Asia team winner, has been appointed the captain of India A for a multi-day one-day matches against Australia A starting from September 16,2025. After playing an important role for India in the Champions Trophy earlier this year and then leading the Punjab Kings in the finals of the IPL 2025, nothing more a player do for the selection and it is ideally unfair with Shreyas Iyer. However, last year Shreyas Iyer was bought for a huge amount of Rs26.75 crore and he became the second most expensive player till date in the upcoming IPL. Shreyas Iyer has not said anything about being dropped from India’s Asia Cup team- at least not directly. To be honest, it is not just the Asia Cup, he did not even find a palce in India’s test for the recent England tour. After the retirement of the famous player of Indian Cricket team like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma from Test Cricket, Shreyas Iyer was considered to be given a place in the middle order. India finally succeeded in making a comeback without any defeat, but it remains to be seen when Shreyas makes a comeback in the Indian Test Team.
