How to Get Rid of Mobile Phone Addiction?

When a devotee asked Premanand Maharaj ji if a person can overcome mobile phone addiction and laziness, Premanand Maharaj ji replied that a person needs practice. Just like sleep, food, speech, and sensual pleasures, a person can increase or decrease these things as much as they want. A person who used to eat 35 rotis (flatbreads) is now surviving on just 2 rotis, and someone who used to sleep 7-8 hours a day is now living on only 3 hours of sleep. Premanand Maharaj Ji says that watching serials and movies are all false things. There are so many things on mobile phones that even if you spend the whole day on them, 24 hours won’t be enough. People are just engrossed in Facebook and Instagram.

Premanand Maharaj Ji Said That He Has Never Set an Alarm in His Life.

When a person asked Premanand Maharaj ji about laziness, he replied that he had never used an alarm clock in his life. He said the first thing to do is to throw off the blanket, and if you feel sleepy, you should get up, stand up, drink some water, and go to freshen up. He said that an alarm doesn’t wake him up; if you make a firm resolve or a commitment to wake up at 3:30 AM, then you will wake up at 3:30 AM.
