As a coin weather also has two sides good and bad. Extreme weather has struck four sides of the globe of Earth. Floods, landslides, and heat have caused many deaths and loss of property. The countries affected are Brazil, Texas, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
The Rio Grande Do Sul state of southern Brazil has witnessed the biggest and worst floods in 80 years. The Brazil Geological Service agency reported that a dam at a hydroelectric plant between the cities of Bento Goncalves and Cotipora partially collapsed on May 2. The situation is terrible in the state as 75 people have died so far due to extreme weather.
On the other hand, Vietnam is facing extreme heat. The temperature has broken the record of 100 temperature and it can go above 44 degrees Celsius. Vietnam is facing extreme heat which is affecting the Vietnamese people. The temperature was 44 degrees in two of its towns and is expected to be hotter according to the country’s weather agency.

In Indonesia, floods and landslides have caused the death of 14 people, according to the country’s National Disaster Management Agency.
Landslides have been caused due to the heavy rain on the 2nd of May in the southern part of the Sulawesi. It has also affected 13 sub-districts of Luw Regency. It has caused a huge property loss including the 211 housing units washed away and heavily destroyed, 3268 houses submerged.
