IIT Delhi Executive Robotics Programme To Be Launched For Students
With the growing technological innovation and transformation of industries, the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has introduced an Executive Robotics Programme for interested students in robotic science.
Market Scenario:
The robotics market was valued at $46 billion in the year 2023 at the global stage, and it is expected to reach $169.8 billion by the year 2032, with a growing rate of 15.1%. Robotics plays a vital role in different industries such as healthcare, agriculture, logistics and defence and helps in collaborating different robotics techniques with Industrial needs and standards.
Overall, robotics helps in integrating human knowledge with robotic systems to enhance efficiency and minimise unwanted errors.
The Robotics programme is been designed to offer comprehensive knowledge starting from the basic level to the advanced level. All the students will get Hands-on- practical experience with the Robotics Operating System (ROS), Programming and also in making different robotic devices such as sensors and actuators.

The Robotics programme offered by IIT Delhi comprises 6 Modules:
- Fundamentals of Robotics and Automation
- Sensing and Perception
- Actuators and Motion
- Modelling, AI, and Machine Learning
- Embedded Control and Mechatronics
- Applications and Future Directions
Learners will work and get knowledge of industry-needed tools such as CAD software, and 3D printers, which will help in getting real-world project experience and learning new skills for development. The overall curriculum highlights different opportunities in the Robotics sector.
