New Hypersonic Missile: Know India’s New Strength in 3.087 KM Watch

Hypersonic Missile

This missile, which can target any city from Delhi to Islamabad and any city in China within a range of 1500 km, can target any city in just 5 to 8 minutes. Because the speed of this new secret hypersonic missile of India is a little more than 11 thousand kilometers per hour.

India successfully tested a new anti-ship missile on Saturday night i.e. 16 November 2024. It is being called a hypersonic missile. With this test, India has now joined the list of countries that have hypersonic weapons. Earlier this plan was for the Brahmos-2 missile. However, due to the delay caused by the Russia-Ukraine war, India made its own technology, weapons, and missiles.

The Speed and Range of the Missile:

A speed of 11,113.2 kilometers per hour means 3.087 kilometers in one second. The range of this new hypersonic missile is a little more than 1500 kilometers. This means that this missile will take about 8 minutes to cover this distance. Islamabad is 690 kilometers from Delhi, Karachi is 1100 kilometers Dhaka is 250 kilometers from Kolkata and Chittagong is 370 kilometers. This means that within one or two minutes to 6-7 minutes, destruction is certain in these countries.

If this missile is fired from Pakistan’s border, then the whole of Pakistan will come within its range. If it is fired from China’s border, then about 45 percent of China will come within its range. That is, from the Himalayas. If it is fired from the seashore, then it can destroy ships of enemy countries in the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean. That is, with this one missile, India’s dominance in Asia has increased after Russia and China.

India’s LRAShM i.e. this hypersonic long-range anti-ship missile is capable of carrying many types of weapons. That too up to different ranges. If the weight of the weapon is reduced then its range will increase to more than 1500 kilometers. This missile can be tracked by many types of range systems.

India Has a System To Track Hypersonic Missiles:

India also has a system to track hypersonic missiles. Whereas many powerful countries of the world do not have this system. This missile can perform many types of terminal maneuvers. That is, the enemy cannot target it even if he wants to. This missile can change its speed, direction, and route slightly if needed. Also, its accuracy is extremely lethal.

What Benefits Does India Get From This?

80 percent of the world’s oil trade takes place through the Indian Ocean Region (IOR). In such a situation, the Indian Navy can use this missile to protect these ships.

If China or Pakistan tries to intrude into Indian maritime territory, this missile can bury their spy ship or warship in the sea in no time.

All the air defense systems in the world cannot track this missile easily because its speed is very high. This means that it will continue to wreak havoc on enemy targets.

It can be deployed for security in regional maritime areas. For example, For example, it could provide security from the Strait of Malacca to the Persian Gulf. It just needs to be deployed near the coast.

What Are Hypersonic Missiles?

Hypersonic missiles are such weapons that travel at a speed five times more than the speed of sound. That is, at least Mach 5. In simple words, the speed of these missiles is 6100 kilometers per hour. Their ability to change speed and direction is so accurate and powerful that it is impossible to track and shoot them down.

Can All Missiles Be Hypersonic?

Usually cruise missiles or ballistic missiles have very high speed. But due to their fixed direction and travel path, they can be tracked and shot down. If their speed is increased to five times the speed of sound i.e. 6100 kilometers per hour and automatic direction changing devices are installed, then they become hypersonic weapons. It becomes almost impossible to track and shoot them down.

How Many Types of Hypersonic Weapons Are There?

There are mainly two types of hypersonic weapons. First- Glide Vehicle i.e. those that float in the air. Second- Cruise Missile. Right now the world’s attention is on Glide Vehicle. A small missile is attached behind it. After covering a certain distance, the missile separates. As soon as the glide vehicle separates, it flies easily and strikes the target. These weapons usually have a scramjet engine, which flies fast using the oxygen present in the air. This gives it a fixed speed and height.

Which Countries Have Hypersonic Missiles?

Hypersonic missiles are used by America, Russia, and China. It is said that North Korea has also developed such missiles. Which can attack with precision from earth to space or from earth to another part of the earth.
