Role and Future of the Indian Government in India’s Growth

The role of the Indian government is to develop every area to be more progressive. Better education, health facilities & employment services increase India’s progress. India is the most populated democratic country where people have the right to choose their leaders. The indian government is chosen through the people’s votes, and the government makes promises to do all the work for the welfare of the people.

The success of India’s growth depends upon the working style of the Indian government and their diligence in doing work. Democracy is a type of arrangement in which the power of a country is controlled by the people. The people give their votes to their favourite leader, and the majority makes one leader rule over the country. The main purpose of the Indian government is to provide equal rights, freedom, and equal justice to all citizens. The government also gives priority to their advice and participation.

The Indian government plays a very important role in India’s growth. We can say that the lives of the citizens are controlled by the government. The main works of the Indian government are: to provide safety and security for the people, work for the progress of the country, and provide education, health, etc. A good government understands the problems of the citizens and works for their welfare, and tries to give a better life. That’s why the government is the key to the progress of any country.

The Role of Indian Government:

  1. Promoting Economic Growth: The Indian government makes many schemes and policies to build a strong economy of the country. Roads, railways, airports, and many other services are provided to the people for the welfare of their easy lifestyle and to help them in their occupations and business. Apart from this, the Indian government tries to create a conducive environment to attract investment and increase economic activities. Economic growth depends on the public’s progress. If they develop, then the economy of the country also develops.
  2. Strong Laws: One of the most important duties of the Indian government is to make proper laws and also make guidelines to obey those laws. These laws save the rights of the citizens, provide security to live freely in society, and help to maintain peace and harmony in the community. By making laws and policies, the Indian government ensures that all the citizens have equal rights in the country.
  3. Equal rights: Citizens have full, assured equal rights in which no Indian government leader or officer can be treated about its color, power, education, wealth, etc. Government officers, civil servants, and political leaders should work with full honesty; they should not take advantage of their place and treat everyone with equality because the real definition of a democratic country is a nation where all citizens are accorded equal rights; after all, every individual’s vote carries the same weight—whether they are rich or poor, white or black, weak or healthy. If their votes are equal, then their value should also be equal.
  4. Services: The Indian government provides education, health, vehicles, light, and water to the people, and these services make life easy in their lifestyle because, for the progress of life and for survival, these services are very important for a better life. To fulfill the needs of the people is the duty of the Indian government.

The Future of the Indian Government in India:

The democracy of India has improved a lot from earlier times, and it is also assumed that in the future the democracy will give better results. With advanced technology and continuous use of digital technology, the citizens of India will become more conscious about their rights and all Indian government services. This makes the system of government more attractive and helpful, and digital platforms will also provide services in which people can share their thoughts related to democratic activities. We can say that the digital world will also correlate with the democracy of India.

In the future, the role of Indian citizens will become more important in democracy. The regular increment of the education and social awareness among the youth will not be limited only to their votes; they will also take part in social-related issues and governance-related issues. Moreover, we can say that the future youth will be transparent and give proper motivation to the government, which will help a lot in shaping Indian democracy.

Goal: The goal of the Indian government will not only be limited to the welfare and economic development of the country but also to improving social welfare in which all the people will be treated with equal rights, opportunities, and respect without discriminating against their colour, wealth, and power. Moreover, we can say that the future of Indian democracy will be more secure, more inclusive, equitable, and progressive, where public participation and welfare are the centre of governance.

Now, the overall conclusion about the role of democracy in the Indian government is that all citizens have equal rights in society. Indian government officers, civil servants, and political leaders should not discriminate due to colour, wealth, or power; they should do all their work and responsibilities with full honesty and give equal rights and services to all citizens. Democracy means a country where the public has the right to live freely without any social fear. So, for progressive social development, it is the duty of the Indian government to obey its promises.

The Indian government should make strict laws for the welfare of society so that all children are secure, provide proper education, and, most importantly, focus on the safety of women and girls because India is a democratic country; still, girls and women are not secure, and they feel fear while staying outside. This is all due to a weak democracy, and the people have no fear of being punished for their crimes; they know that they will not be punished by the Indian government and will be easily free with their money and power. This is all done by corrupt leaders, weak laws, and discrimination. Therefore, the Indian government should pay attention to this issue and follow democracy properly to create a good future.
