Today is the fourth day of the rescue operation after the Wayanad landslide. Bodies or parts of bodies of 308 people are being recovered. Bodies of only 115 people have been found, and only parts of the bodies of the remaining 105 people have been recovered. 4 days have passed since the landslide accident in Kerala on the morning of 30 July. Today, the Indian Army has found 4 people alive in the debris. Among them, 2 are women and 2 are men. After the Wayanad landslide, the people buried in the debris were immediately sent to the hospital. 40 teams engage in the rescue.
Forty teams of rescue workers along with the Army, Navy, and Air Force engage in the rescue of people. To make the rescue operation effective, there is talk of dividing the search area into 6 different parts. The first of these regions is made up of Attamala and Aarmara.
When did the Wayanad landslide happen?
The first landslide in Wayanad happened on 30th July around 2 am, after which another landslide happened at around 4 am. With this, for the third time in the landslide, 4 villages in Wayanad turned into a pile of rubble, after which the rescue team made continuous efforts to save them. The number of deaths in the operation is continuously increasing. People say that the landslide happened here with a very loud sound.
