Through this CPM tool, the advertiser calculates.  The publisher can find out how much cost he will have to pay for showing his ad 1000 times on a blog or video (impression).  How much money is he getting for 1000 views (Views/Impressions) of ads on his blog or video? Advertisers bid on Google for CPM and set its cost as how much they want to pay for 1000 impressions. CPM bidding is mostly best for those advertisers who focus only on brand awareness.

Here CTR is helpful for any advertiser to know the efficiency or effectiveness of his ads. This means that it is detected by CTR.
